Can anyone from my generation say that The Beatles didn't have an influence on them? I guess they could, if they grew up without music. However, in my house I was raised with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, show tunes, and others, including or especially The Beatles. This morning while listening to the Beatles Fab Foursome on Sirius, the DJ Dennis Elsas mentioned an article in the New York Times by Allan Kozinn, "Meditation on the Man Who Saved the Beatles." The article is about their experiences with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who recently passed away. What came of that experience bad or good was an amazing body of music.
